Health & Wellbeing Declaration

Our Commitment to Your Journey
At The Forest Bathing Institute we are dedicated to helping you become a confident and successful Forest Bathing Guide. We believe in a supportive and inclusive environment, and our goal is to assist you every step of the way throughout your training and future practice.

Why we ask
Forest bathing training, and the subsequent role of a guide, can be physically and emotionally demanding. It involves navigating outdoor terrain in various weather conditions and "holding space" for the emotional and mental wellbeing of your future participants.

To ensure we can provide you with the right support and to confirm that you can safely manage the responsibilities of a guide, we ask that you share any relevant health information with us.

Your Disclosure
Please let us know if you have any physical or mental health conditions that could:

i) Affect your ability to complete the guide training (including outdoor sessions).

ii) Impact your capacity to support and ensure the safety of participants once you are a qualified guide.

Confidentiality & Support
Any information you share will be treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality. Disclosing a condition does not necessarily disqualify you; rather, it allows us to discuss any reasonable adjustments or support systems we can put in place to help you thrive.
